Information we collect

Account info (name, email, phone), profile details, property details (for owners), KYC documents (Aadhaar/PAN for owners), booking & payment metadata, reviews & messages, browser & device info.

How we use your data

To run the platform (authentication, matching, bookings, payments), comply with KYC/AML regulations, send transactional emails/SMS, prevent fraud, and improve our service. We never sell your data.

Sharing your data

We share booking details only between matched students & owners. Payment data is handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). KYC is shared with verification partners only as needed.

Cookies

We use httpOnly cookies for authentication, and analytics cookies (anonymized) to improve the product. You can disable analytics via your browser settings.

Your rights

You can request your data, edit your profile, or delete your account anytime from /dashboard or by emailing hello@hostro.in. We retain transactional data for legal compliance.
